Born and raised Jersey girl. I love dogs, traveling, writing, social media, staying active and practicing my faith. I consider one of my greatest accomplishments to be working with Last Chance Animal Rescue to foster 8 dogs over 1.5 years, and I hope to start again soon!

I am currently an Orthodox Christian Mission Center missionary, using my skills as a social media and content strategist to help establish youth and internet ministries.

WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING...

Anthony Bottan, senior product manager, Newsday:
"When I first met Elaine Piniat, I knew she would become a vital part of Newday’s success. While training her as a homepage producer, she proved to be a quick learner, who was meticulous and creative in every facet of the job. As an editor and project manager, Elaine superbly directed and coordinated multiple departments on a multimedia project that drew nearly four million page views to the site – our most successful project of 2015. Elaine is someone who takes pride in her work and is willing to sacrifice personal time to ensure its success."

Nicholas Loffredo, former associate regional editor, Patch.com:
"Despite serving as an editor of a site whose municipality was eclipsed in size and prominence by several in our region, Elaine’s devotion to her work helped establish Lacey Patch as one of the most read sites in our network, as well as in the entire state. Perhaps most importantly, Lacey Patch was also one of the most engaged sites in the state, due to Elaine’s ability to harness local passions and serve her readers’ interests. Although initially less experienced than many of her colleagues, Elaine soon became one of our most trusted and respected editors for her devotion to her position. Her diligence was rewarded with the position of field editor, where she served as a roving editor, meeting the needs of a wide swath of sites with enterprise reporting."

Tom Davis, former New Jersey editor, Patch.com:
"Elaine was, perhaps, my most creative, efficient and productive editor who helped establish our Patch media presence in New Jersey. She covered a portion of the Jersey Shore and provided a regular supply of in-depth, colorful, creative and informative content that made Patch.com the “media of record” in Ocean County."
